![]() Congratulations! You survived another semester and I hope are enjoying some well-deserved R&R. Take this time to enjoy family and friends and a brain break from school and all things academic (: at least for a short time. When you are ready to gear up for 2016 take some time to reflect on the past semester and things that went well and things that need improvement. Since I'm an assessment nerd, I want to pose a few questions for you to ponder before beginning the new semester:
Is it really about learning or about playing the grade game? Want some answers? Watch for my next blog...

Thank you for this motivating article. I really needed a good read and something to motivate me for the next term. Being a university student while working is not an easy task. It is very time consuming and not that rewarding. I hope that when I graduate, I'll get my dream job, wherein I can enjoy what I will do. I'll use your questions to assess myself on the priorities that I must do first for the next term, thanks!

It is really true that if you want to know the whole thing then you have to concentrate on the learning the factor clearly.

As a teacher, the biggest responsibility we are carrying is to let the children or the students leaner from them. That is the greatest gift they can give to their students. But aside from that, making great memories with them will make a huge difference. It's not just about teaching and feeding them all the educational stuff they need to know. Your impact as a teacher depends on how much you have touch their lives. It is also the relationship with your students that matters and would last even the school year has ended already!
