Training institutes are offered in accordance with educational reform research
that shows that a one-day “crash-course” workshop is generally not effective in
affecting change.Professional
development should be sustained wherein best-practices are introduced and
teachers work collaboratively to implement, and then reflect on the
effectiveness of the new strategies. Teachers are empowered in their own learning as they work together to find the best fit for their students. As
we reflect, adjustments are made in the training to meet the needs of their
particular circumstances, rather than a “one-size fits all” mentality. Training is then personalized to fit the unique needs of individual teachers.
All training is conducted at your school. For information on how to personalize your professional development and consulting fees, click here.
